Residential trash burning is a public health risk.  State law, RSA 125-N strictly prohibits trash burning.  Please read the No Trash Burning Brochure for more information.

 

The cost for a fire permit is $3.00.

Fires may only be kindled after 5:00 pm and must be extinguished before 9:00 a.m.  Please refer to NH Fire Permits Laws, Regulation and Information for detailed information and exemptions to this rule.

A fire permit is required anytime there is not a 100-foot radius of complete snow cover around the fire.

To obtain a burning permit please call the 603-927-2727.  You will get an answering machine that advises the caller to either go to the state website or call Aaron to get a permit.
